Institute of Regional and Security Sciences

The Institute of Regional and Security Sciences was established at the Faculty of Economics and Administration on 1 January 2019 and represents institutional roofing of a segment of activities undertaken by the faculty involved with scientific research, educational and other professional activities. The institute is focused on regional economics disciplines in a broader interdisciplinary context and emphasizes two directions: urbanism – linked to the regional development issues traditionally – and security (of residents, businesses, state) – as a directions which connection with regional development has been rising and requires more attention in practice.
