After you file your application, the Registrar’s Office will forward electronically, useful information to track your online application. You can then send the scanned documents, as required, to accelerate the analysis of your file, respond to an offer of admission or change your personal information.
Decision of the Interdisciplinary Institute for Business Technology and African Studies
The Office of the Registrar communicates the official decision of Interdisciplinary Institute for Business Technology and African Studies for each electronic program choices. You may receive one of the following official decisions:
of final admission offer
Your admission offer is final if your application is deemed eligible and you meet all the requirements and have submitted all official documents in support of your application.
If you aim for a study program, it may be that you are registered on a waiting list. You could possibly receive an admission offer if another candidate already admitted withdraws. In all cases, you must meet the admission requirements.
The Registrar’s Office will inform you of the reason for refusal to your application. You then have the option to file an alternative program on the following conditions:
the application does not seek a third choice in a limited program;
the deadline for submission of applications is still in force;
you meet the special requirements for admission and the selection criteria of the new program selected;
you drop a variety of additional programs.
Duration of the offer of admission
The offer of admission is valid only for the requested session. If you fail to register for this session or if you cancel your registration, you will have to resubmit an application for admission to a later session.
Procedure for review and appeal
If you feel prejudiced by the admission decision and you are able to present new facts likely to alter this decision, you can request a review from the Program Director or, if it is to a limited enrollment program, the chairman of the admissions committee. The request must be in writing and motivated within 10 working days of receipt of the official decision. The program director or chairman of the admissions committee shall communicate its decision to the Registrar within 20 working days of receipt of the application for review. The Registrar’s Office will forward the committee’s decision.
If you feel aggrieved by the review decision, you may appeal to the faculty responsible for the studies. The appeal must be in writing and motivated within 10 working days of receipt of the official decision. The faculty research manager communicates the decision to the Registrar within 20 working days of receipt of the request. The Registrar’s Office will forward the decision of the Faculty responsible for the studies.
