Master of Network Industries and Digital Economy



The training is structured in four courses: Innovation, Digital Economy, Network Industries, Market Design. Within each of the specialization courses, students have the opportunity to follow a Professional or Research profile. The Research Profile prepares for the formulation of a professional or academic dissertation project. The Professional profile leads directly to the labor market. A common training offer is offered to students during the first semester, it aims to give all students the necessary basic knowledge. The differentiation according to thematic specializations and according to the Research and Professional profiles is done from January. As part of the Professional profile, students must follow, from the beginning of April, a professional internship (minimum 3 months) in relation to the chosen path. Students in the Research Profile can also take an internship. The inclusion in one of the research teams associated with the Network Industries and Digital Economy specialty or in a research structure within a company is strongly encouraged.

Provision of a tutorial Design of an annual project: Bibliographic review (EX1); Draft article (EX2); Internship or equivalent (EX3) Development of an “Entrepreneurship” profile aimed at supporting students with a business project. We also hired a person on a part-time basis to collect and disseminate internship offers to students, consolidate our relationships with the companies and organizations that welcomed our students, and establish new contacts.

Educational goals

The purpose of the Master of Network Industries and Digital Economy  specialty is to train high-level students who are familiar with the operating principles of the network industries and the digital economy, who have analytical and methodological skills to monitor rapidly changing phenomena, either in universe of research and higher education in operational positions in companies, administrations, groups of consumers or users, institutions of regulation. The specificity of this high-level training is that it closely associates engineering schools and universities in an area that involves the joint analysis of the technical, economic and institutional aspects of networks and innovation processes. The knowledge acquired makes it possible to have a global vision of the raised questions and to allow an adapted treatment. Whatever the original education of the students, the objective is to provide them with knowledge in the technical, economic and managerial fields, making them able to apprehend and formulate analyzes and studies that require the articulation of these knowledge.
